Amrita,Sameera & Minissha on the ramp

Check out actresses Amrita Rao, Sameera Reddy and Minissha Lamba sizzling down the ramp at the ongoing Kolkatta Fashion Week. While Amrita sported bridal wear by Manish Malhotra, Sameera Reddy’s ensemble was designed by designer Neeta Lulla and Minissha Lamba walked the ramp for Monapali.

Talking about Neeta’s stunning bridal wear, Sameera said, “I think Neeta’s Indian wear rocks and when I get married she is going to make me the best bridal outfit ever. It’s going to be the style statement of the century.”

Rani turns red carpet into fuchsia

Rani Mukherjee painted the red carpet at Toronto International Film Festival fuchsia with her fuschia colored gown.

Rani felt honored to be attending the Film festival, she said, “Toronto, I have heard, is a city full of people who love all kinds of movies. Yet our film is a masala, commercial film. And to be featured in as a gala event is a very big honor.”

Apart from Dil Bole Hadippa, Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Rashee? will also be featured at the film festival.

Sallu sizzles at Men’s Fashion week

While Bollywood ladies sashayed down the ramp at Kolkatta Fashion Week, Bollywood hunk Salman Khan upped the glam quotient at the Men’s Fashion week’s, as he became the show-stopper at the grand finale night.

A unwell Sallu said, “I am not well and I have a severe headache.”

Sallu walked the ramp for Ashish Soni ‘Don’ inspired collection and for Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s collection – Hypernature.

Aishwarya Rai is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan, but she must be cursing herself for dating Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi in the past, ‘coz both of her ex-es don’t let her stay in peace by always digging the skeletons of her past in an unfavorable way.

While Salman in a recent interview insisted that he never hit Ash and if he would have done the same Ash wouldn’t survive to see the day. Vivek talked about plastic Aishwarya who made her do all sort of things and then called him immature.

While Aishwarya is mum about this recent outbursts from her ex-lovers, a buddy of Ash says, “We feel what Mr Khan and Mr Oberoi are doing is very ungentlemanly. It’s unchivalrous to talk about any lady who has moved on to a new phase in her life. It is especially wrong when the lady is very happily married. Her life revolves around her two families now. What happened in the past is done and over with.”

Why bring her name up unnecessarily and that too in contexts that have long lost their validity? Vivek said on a talk show on Sunday that he had held the infamous press conference against Salman to please Aishwarya. Let me tell you, Aishwarya wasn’t even aware that he was going to hold the press conference. When she got to know about it, she was horrified. Vivek is an adult and he should take responsibility for his actions. Why blame Aishwarya if his career didn’t take off. Do these two men realize how much her career suffered? She lost so many films because of her past associations.”

The friend also revealed how Ash literally cried due to these false allegations by her ex-es, “At the moment, Aishwarya is working on two of her most difficult and challenging roles in Raavana and Guzaarish. The last thing she needs is rude distractions from the past. On Sunday, she was so upset she could hardly control her tears on the sets of Guzaarish. All she kept saying is, ‘I’m living my life the way I want. I wish others would do the same. Just let me be.”

Sridevi on 10 Ka Dum

Salman Khan’s next set of guests on his show Dus Ka Dum are the people behind his upcoming flick Wanted – Boney Kapoor,Sridevi,Prabhu Deva and Ayesha Takia.

Wanted’s producer and Sridevi’s husband Boney says, “Sri has been asked to appear on Koffee with Karan, on Vir Sanghvi’s show and has also been invited by several other prominent talk show hosts. However, she politely refused the offers because she is shy. But when it came to appearing on Salman’s show, Sri didn’t have to be persuaded. Like me, she also shares a good rapport with Salman.”

Salman on the episode jokingly said, “Now we can all shamelessly promote our film Wanted.”
