Aamir to play an AIDS victim

National Award winner filmmaker, Priyadarshan, is all set to make a flick with Aamir Khan where he will be playing an Aids victim.

Priyan says, “My next film is a meaningful and realistic take on AIDS. I have narrated the story to Aamir and he really liked it, though I have not presented him a bound script yet.”

The previous Bollywood flicks made on the topic of AIDS were Phir Milenge and My Brother Nikhil.

Lets see how perfectionist Aamir will enact the role of a AIDS patient.

Rakhi:If Elesh touches me, I’m bound to respond

That’s what Rakhi said, after she and Elesh had an impromptu smooch on the sets of their new reality show Pati Patni and Woh on NDTV Imagine.

Talking about the kiss, Rakhi said, “I had warned him at the very beginning that I’m an Indian girl and closeness before marriage is not acceptable in our culture. He agreed. But there came a time, when he knew that there’s no way I could run away from the show. It’s then that he kissed me. Let’s accept that I too am a human being. If Elesh touches me, I’m bound to respond. Main koi barf nahin hoon. Rather, I’m a volcano. After kissing, Elesh told me, ‘Sorry baby, you are my fiancée’. In fact, four times he had joined our beds and four times I had separated them.”

Talking about her relationship status with Elesh, she said,”I’m a little upset with him. If I’m putting in my cent per cent, I expected Elesh to put in at least 70 per cent. But it goes without saying that Elesh is a nice man. Lekin hamesha achhe log apke liye utne achhe nahin hote. He did nothing for the child. Moreover, his Hindi skills are suspect. Usko Hindi ayegi toh hi toh woh bachha kuchh seekh payega!”

Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Sawant has also made her TV debut with Big Boss 3rd season this year.

Ranbir becomes a bronze-statue

Check out the statue above, it’s Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor turned into a bronze statue for his flick Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Apparently Ranbir has a habit of talking to a bronze statue in his colony and later he realizes that the statue resembles him.

Director RajKumar Santoshi says,“When I explained to Ranbir the scenes, he was extremely enthusiastic about turning into a statue; even though the entire process of becoming one was tedious and painful. Once in make-up, Ranbir could only stand, there was no way he could even sit, forget lying down for those long hours. He had to keep on standing till all the shots were canned. Yet, he went through the paces with great zest.”

Ranbir was made into a statue after four-hours of make-up, a source says, “After the gruelling shoot, all that Ranbir could think was to move around. The freedom to move around after having stood like a stone at one place put him on a different high.”

Now that’s some ghazab acting.

Preity becomes host and dost

Preity is all set to make her debut on small-screen as a host of her talk show titled – The Preity Zinda show.

The show will be on air from mid-December and will show Preity interacting with Bollywood celebrities as her guests. the bubbly actress has been paid a whooping 10 crore for 20 episodes.

A source says, “The deal was finalised last week when the channel officials met her in Los Angeles where she is currently. Preity is quite excited about her television debut. However everything about the deal is hush-hush right now and no one is allowed to talk about it.”

Kareena goes de-glam

Glamourous actress Kareena Kapoor is known for her ultra-glamorous fashion sense, but now she is all set to go de-glam for her role in Siddharth Malhotra’s desi version of Step Mom.

Kareena who will be attending workshops for her role says, “The last time I rehearsed for a part was for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara. But that was a more unconventional film and role where I had to get into a milieu and character I knew nothing about. But Stepmom is urban and very contemporary. I play a very normal metro-centric working girl.”

“I walk, talk, dress like an ordinary working girl. I’ll be using no makeup.”

Bebo will also sport a new hairdo in the flick,”I couldn’t cut my hair as planned because of continuity clashes. And I didn’t want to cut my long hair. But I’m going for a new hairstyle.”

Salman:All’s well between me and Kat

Few days ago rumors were rife that, Salman and Katrina had parted ways and ignored each other at Kanchivaram success party.

When Sallu was asked about the same, he said, “I’ve been travelling. What is it that you are talking about? I haven’t see TV since yesterday.”

Then Sallu added, “We didn’t come together because we didn’t want to give everyone present a photo op together. We are saving that for a special reason. Very soon, we’ll be making an appearance together.”
